The workshop reviews techniques, experiences, skills and practices that a participant must have to be qualified as a chemical storekeeper following the international standards and country regulations. Storage safety and security are the main issues to be considered within the training sessions. Storage management systems packages are to be reviewed with skill in operation of computer applications.

The workshop provides training practices on operational duties in safe chemical storage management, purchasing, receiving, chemical stockroom inventory, checks store chemicals and equipment, shipping, record keeping, organizing stock and non-stock items, Shortages, Safety handling limits, damaged materials, etc.

The sessions include video clips, discussions and exercises to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills. Case studies and examples are to be demonstrated by European countries within the workshop. Participants are to be assessed at the end of the training sessions and will be provided with a certificate
