The ADEP course is an interactive course, which is structured at convenience for busy dentists who would like to enhance their knowledge and skills in aesthetic dentistry. This course consists of interactive sessions of 2 hours, at 8 weeks intervals, with theoretical and practical information. Resources as videos, files and links will be provided for participants. At the end of the course, participants will have an assessment of theoretical questions and practical cases.

The course covers in brief the most up-to-date information and skills needed for the practice of aesthetic dentistry, taking in consideration the fast development of materials and techniques and the increasing aesthetic demands of dental patients. It is not restricted only to the appearance of the patient mouth, but all the aspects of successful aesthetic treatment plan, from smile design, to biological and pronunciation requirements, and finally self-confidence and satisfaction of this sort of patients.

Upon completing the training program, participants will be able to:

1. Analysis cases in terms of aesthetic dental-facial components and make a primary diagnosis.

2. Practice smile design for patients with appropriate style, and make aesthetic treatment plans, with different options.

3. Prepare teeth for indirect laminate veneers and direct composite veneers.

4.Choose suitable materials of composite, resin cements and other polymers used for veneer cases, based on sound understanding of their properties and indications.

5.Build up heavily destroyed teeth using fiber posts and other types of custom and prefabricated posts.

6.Choose suitable ceramic materials and techniques for aesthetic crown and bridge.

7. Use different adhesion systems for veneers, crown and bridge.

8. Apply chairside and home bleaching systems.

9. Manage failure aesthetic restorations and deal with problems and challenges of difficult cases with fair prognosis.

10. Collaborate with colleagues of different specializations and refer cases as needed.
